Making Space for God in the New Year

Happy New Year, Making Space for God friends! Have any of you decided to set goals for the New Year? Mine are to be more intentional, strategic, simplify and minimize. Please join me as we make space for God in the New Year to study Paul’s letter to the Ephesians and together we will make 2018 a year to remember! You can join me live in the Charleston area at St. Peter’s Church in Mt. Pleasant or at Ashley River Baptist Church, or via streaming wherever you are! More info on our website.

Paul writes in Ephesians, (The Message Translation) to run with intentionality and purpose, with discipline and love.

While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk— better yet run- on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline— not in fits and starts, but steadily pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.
