Mom Alert

Good morning making space friends! Today my topic is for women only. Although I know we have men subscribers, you are welcome to tune in, but this is specific to what it means to be a mother. Motherhood is all it is cracked up to be. Motherhood is the best gift we have been given and if motherhood in the natural is not what you feel called to, or you are unable to have children and do not wish to adopt, that is okay. You too are mothers. Why? Because God gave you a heart to love, nurture, and give hope to others. He gave you the ability to multi-task like no other and he gave you the strength needed to lead others to Christ in the unique way that women are wired.

My mother taught me that true life is lived when we recognize and appreciate how God created us and for what He created us. And I believe that women could run the world if given the chance.

But God…

Had a plan that was better. His plan was that there would be men and women- His very best, offered to work together bearing the image of God and in complimentary way. So what does it look like to be a woman who carries the nurturing side of Christ and who understands that we uniquely add to society? It looks like confidence– confident that our identity is in Christ alone.

For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son…

And He sent His son to both men and women; His very best. I am presently teaching a course I wrote called Courageous Leaders and yesterday’s teaching included a video that I want you, my sisters to watch (click here to watch). Appreciate who you are, how God has called you and how precious you are to Him. Know who you are in Christ. When we finally grab hold of this truth, we make space for God to move in our lives in powerful ways.
